Winning Facebook Business Page: Tips On How To Set Up A Winning Page
Creating a winning Facebook business page is an excellent way of growing your business online. But to effectively market your business on Facebook, you have to set up a proper page and to work on it now and again. In one of my articles on setting up a killer Facebook business page, I pointed out five key aspects to consider setting up a useful Facebook page. They included planning before creating your page, selecting a suitable name and business type, designing a relevant cover photo and having a good profile picture.
I would like to further share with you more useful tips that you need to think about as you set up a page for your business.
How do you create a winning Facebook Business Page?
#1 – Familiarize yourself with your administrative dashboard
The dashboard is where you make changes concerning your Facebook business page. You have to log in to access your dashboard. The things you do in your dashboard matter a lot to the success of your Facebook marketing. It’s, therefore, essential to take some quality time to educate yourself on the critical components of the dashboard.
To access your dashboard, you click on “Settings” at the top-right corner of your page to go to the Admin Panel. In the Admin Panel, you will find options like “General”, “Messaging”, “Edit Page”, and many others. Note that the dashboard interface keeps on changing with new developments.
#2 – Add photos
Your Facebook business page will not be useful without posting on it right information and material to keep your visitors engaged. Pictures are so good, not only in attracting people to your page but also in representing your business brand image well. They speak a thousand words to your visitors and bring out the realities of your business to them. Always post photos to your page as much as possible. People will keep coming back to see new images. But if they are all the time viewing the same old photos, they will get bored with your page.
When posting photos to your page, always post business photos but not personal photos. Remember, you are doing business. Personal photos have their place on your Facebook Profile. Secondly, your photos should bring out the personal side of your business. Photos involving people and your business are more effective. Always select the best photos! If you want to develop a winning Facebook business page, consider having a personal camera to take your photos and upload them frequently.
#3 – Add videos
Videos, like photos, attract people so much. They are even better than photos in that they are audio-visual. People watch the video and at the same time, hear the corresponding message. Videos are good at keeping your targeted audience for a longer time on your page. They also make people come back to your page if you always post new good videos.
#4 – Add content
To develop a winning Facebook business page, you have to post useful content to make your page resourceful. Posting useful content on your page is one of the most effective online marketing methods. It engages your visitors and gives them a reason to return to your page so often. Always post new useful content to your page!
#5 – Make fun
One of the reasons for people to join social media networks is to socialise. As they socialise, they also have fun and feel relaxed. Although posting useful content, videos and photos keep your visitors engaged; your page will be more effective if you integrate fan to keep your audience interested. Try to be innovative! Come up with various interesting activities in which you can involve your followers to have fun. It’s by so doing that you will be able to develop a winning Facebook business page.
As I conclude, it takes time and effort to develop a winning Facebook business page. You should always work on your page to attract people to it. The time and energy you spend are not for nothing. You will eventually benefit abundantly from Facebook marketing.
