Acrylic Plaque

Acrylic plaques are ornamental tablets made out of acrylic, a plastic-like material. They are usually fixed on a wall in commemoration of a person or event. Goleza Designers Limited is one of the few companies in Uganda that specializes in laser engraving using modern technology. And acrylic plaques engraving is one of the services we offer with expertise. Goleza Designers produces the most accurate, clear and deep engraving when it comes to engraving acrylic plaques.

How Do We Make Our Acrylic Plaques?

As already said, we use modern technology to produce all our acrylic plaques. We work with professional and experienced graphic designers to turn every customer’s ideas into the real objects they need. In all jobs, we work with our clients to ensure that the design aspect is done to their satisfaction. We do this by sharing with them every progress. They in turn suggest changes and proofread.

We like clients who are conversant with the internet because it’s easier for us to share with them via email or Whatsapp. After designing, we then engrave. Our engraving is deep and of good quality. That’s a guarantee we always promise to all our clients. We then spray all our acrylic plaques with colour using a car paint sprayer. After spraying, we then clean off all the unwanted spots with the right cleaning solutions.

Finally, we mount the plaque onto a wooden frame upside down to avoid any damage on the front surface during movement. We guide all our customers on how to install the acrylic plaques onto the wall. That’s part of our customer support system.

Instructions for Mounting Acrylic Plaques

The following are the instructions for mounting acrylic plaques onto the wall.

  1. Remove the acrylic plaque from the wooden frame carefully using a screwdriver.
  2. Use a drilling machine to drill holes on the wall. Insert in the holes plugs (not provided). Then use 2 screws (not provided) to mount the wooden frame on the wall. The frame has already 2 holes through which you fix the screws to mount it on the wall. The screws should be those that can enter into the frame. It’s important that when you put back the plaque, the screws don’t push it off.
  3. Apply glue carefully (not provided) at the back of the plaque after removing the protective sticker paper. Fix the plaque carefully back onto the frame, with the glue on it, using the 4 screws provided to hold it firmly onto the frame. The screws help to hold the plaque firmly on the frame to allow the glue to hold it permanently. The reason why we recommend applying glue is that someone may want to pluck off the plaque and with only the screws holding it; it becomes easy to remove it and/or even break it.
  4. After fixing it, use a soft cloth or tissue that does not scratch and paraffin to clean off any unwanted matter (i.e. glue remains and fingerprints) to make it shine.

Types of Acrylic Plaques We Make

Generally, we make all types of acrylic plaques. But the commonest ones we make are commemorative plaques and official opening plaques. In conclusion, if you have any specific job concerning engraving acrylic plaques, just visit us. We will perform it to your satisfaction. All our clients have always felt satisfied with our work. If you cannot come physically, you can use the internet. When the work is done, we deliver the plaque to you physically. For upcountry clients, we deliver them using courier services at a small additional fee anywhere in Uganda.

Please give me a quote for plaques and letters to send to people who have supported us financially to build ST. Peter’s Cathedral Soroti. The committee agreed to appreciate people who give varying amounts plaques and cards. Can your organization do this and what are the rates?

    Thank you
