Persistence is a fundamental factor in business. Success in business demands a high level of persistence. Understand it clearly, right from the beginning, that you have to persist to succeed. Never give up despite any hindrances you may encounter when running your business!

You have to consistently work on your business now and again to convert your desires into their monetary equivalent. Your willpower to continuously work on your business, day in and day out, and your ability to turn obstacles into success stories are the main ingredients of persistence.

Since I started a business, I have realised that many people want to start businesses. Many do start, while others fear to do so. Some of those who start hope to make a lot of money quickly. But after starting, they work on the businesses for a short time and withdraw. Others join and leave it to luck. It’s one of the reasons why I have come out to share with you, in this article, the importance of persistence in business.

Persistence is one of the great secrets that have helped many business people to accumulate a lot of money. Generally, all successful business people have persistently worked hard to get money. Hard work and persistence are the driving forces that help you turn the impossible into the possible and convert your desires and plans into their monetary equivalent. If you are determined to make money, you must have the energy to work persistently on your business.

In business, you can consider yourself successful if you can make a reasonable amount of money. But one thing you must know is that this kind of success does not come so quickly. There are always ups and downs, disappointments and losses that may break down your willpower. When the journey gets tough as it sometimes will, rest if you should but don’t quit, said Robert Schuller. Most would-be successful business persons give up when faced with a temporary defeat. It’s those who persist until they attain their objectives that make money. Don’t you want to be among them?

To elaborate this further, let me use an example of my former workmate in a reputable organisation six years ago, who abruptly decided to leave formal employment to do personal work of writing books for sale on Self-Discovery. When he mentioned this, everyone who knew him got concerned about how he would survive without any reliable source of income. But he was tired of working for others. He wanted to be a master of himself. When he finally resigned, he used his terminal benefits to publish his books.

However, things became so difficult for him that he had no idea that his success depended not only on his skill and knowledge of the subject matter but also on his ability to market the products. He lacked marketing knowledge. He had exhausted all of his terminal benefits. And the books were not selling as well as he had hoped, resulting in a good income for him. Worse, he had to deal with the financial obligations of his family. Every day, he lost weight, was disappointed, and reached out to his colleagues for help. But he never abandoned his business idea. He worked on his company and sought a market for his products.

Eventually, he realised that he could earn from organising workshops and seminars, mainly in schools, on the subject. He also noticed he could use his books to promote other businesses and make money from providing advertising space. His books are now full of various adverts. As we talk now, he has established himself as an expert in self-discovery and earns a living from his business. He is a self-made motivational speaker, writer, and publisher. The key factors to his success are mainly hard work and persistence.

The Pain of Lack of Persistence Revealed

Lack of persistence is one of the causes of failure in business. It’s a significant weakness prevalent to the majority of people. To make money, you must overcome this weakness by having some effort to work on your business consistently and by keeping your desire to make money burning. How deep is your desire to achieve from your business enterprise?

The stronger your desire to make money is, the stronger the results. The weaker your wishes are, the weaker the results. A small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.
